Romania’s audiovisual watchdog CNA applies 101 fines in 2013
Romania’s National Audiovisual Council CNA applied a total of 101 fines last year, with a value of over RON 2 million (some EUR 453,000). Romania TV, Antena 1 and Antena 3 were the TV stations most severely sanctioned, according to the institution’s activity report.
Romania TV received in 2013 a total of 19 penalties from CNA, out of which 7 were fines with a total value of RON 250,000 (over EUR 56,000).
Antena 1 came second, with 22 penalties in 2013, 12 of them being fines with a total value of RON 245,000 (over EUR 55,000).
