Romania’s main cities, except for Bucharest, saw deliveries of new office space of over 90,000 sqm last year. It was the highest level ever, according to an analysis by DTZ Echinox.

By the end of next year, the total surface of modern office space in Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi, and Brasov could reach about 800,000 sqm. The modern office inventory in these cities reached 584,000 sqm at the end of 2015, up 20% over 2014.

In the first half of 2016, about 47,500 sqm of modern office space were delivered in Romania’s big cities, except for Bucharest. The level of modern office space deliveries in the main regional cities could exceed 210,000 sqm for the period 2016-2017.
