The ATP world tour includes 39 tournaments in the ATP 250 category, where the winner gets 250 ATP points. Some of the most popular are in Moscow, Istanbul, Vienna, and Geneva. The men’s tennis season also has 13 ATP 500 tournaments, nine ATP 1000 opens and four Grand Slams (2000 points tournaments).

The 20th edition of the BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy will take place between April 18 and April 26 at the BNR Arenas in Bucharest.

The tournament’s organiser is McCann Bucharest, Bodgan Enoiu’s firm, and the primary sponsor is BRD Groupe Societe Generale, the second largest bank in Romania. The total prizes are EUR 426,000, of which the winner will get EUR 80,000. The winner will also get 250 ATP points.

The tickets for the semi-finals and the final of this year’s tournament are 60% sold and that all the subscriptions for the whole tournament are sold out, Enoiu said.
