Romania’s turnover in the trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 14.9% in May over the same month last year. The growth pace was identical to the one in March and April, according to the National Institute of Statistics.

In May, the sales of motor vehicles saw a boost of 24.9% compared to May 2015 whereas the trade with motorcycles increased by 15.8% year-on-year. The turnover from the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles rose by 15.9% compared to May 2015.

In total, the turnover of the trade with motor vehicles and motorcycles went up by 15.9% in the first five months of the year compared to the same period in 2015.
