Romania's crude oil and natural gas exports, down 11 months into 2013
Romania exported crude oil and natural gas worth some EUR 27.4 million in the first 11 months 2013, up 1.4 percent on the same period of 2012, according to data from the Statistics Institute.
This was the value of Free on Board (FOB) exports, which means the buyer takes care of the insurance costs for the merchandise, as well as of transport and customs clearance.
Meanwhile, exports Cost Insurance and Freight (CIF) of crude oil and natural gas totaled EUR 3.1 billion, down 15.8 percent. This means the seller covers insurance for the merchandise.
