Romania’s Dacia opens first sales center in Israel
Romanian car maker Dacia recently opened its first sales center in Israel, in the capital Tel Aviv. This is Dacia’s 44th market worldwide. Renault, which owns the Dacia brand, plans to open two more showrooms in Israel in 2015, as well as sales areas in other existing Renault units across the country.
For Israel, partner company Carasso Motors will be in charge with sales and post-sale products for Dacia cars. Israelis will be able to order Dacia Duster, Sandero Stepway, Lodgy and Dokker models.
Registrations of Romania’s car brand Dacia in France increased by 12.9% last year, to 105,895 units, while its market share stood at 4.88%, according to data from French Automobile Manufacturers Association (CCFA).
Dacia car sales recorded a 26.4% year-on-year increase in Europe between January and November 2014, and Dacia’s market share increased from 2.3% to 2.8%, according to the statistics from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA).
