Romania's Dancing with the Stars anchor Iulia Vantur gets part in Bollywood production

Romanian Dancing with the Stars anchor Iulia Vantur has landed a dancing role in an Indian movie and will make her debut at Bollywood this March.

She will perform in the Indian film O Teri, alongside Pulkit Samrat and Sarah Jane Dias, who will play the main roles. The film is directed by Umesh Bhisht.

Vantur, who had previously been asked to join Bollywood productions, said yes to this one, and took part in a two-day filming session.

Local and international media are commenting on an alleged relationship between Iulia Vantur and famous Bollywood actor Salman Kahn, saying the two are secretly dating. Kahn will also make a guest appearance in the production O Teri.

Bollywood is the informal term popularly used for the Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai, India, and it is often used to refer to the whole Indian cinema production industry. The Indian film industry generated revenues of USD 3 billion in 2011, according to the DI International Business Development, and revenue is expected to reach USD 4.5 billion in 2016. America’s Hollywood generates much higher revenue – as much as USD 51 billion annually.
