Romania’s fall baccalaureate session ends with 22.7% admission rate
Less than a quarter of the candidates in the fall session of the Baccalaureate in Romania passed the exam – 22.7 %.
There were 52,300 candidates in this session, and only 11,600 of them passed the exam. The number seems low, but is 1% higher than the result of the similar session in the fall of 2013. Out of the rejected candidates, 248 were eliminated for fraud.
As many as 9,700 candidates got grades between 5 and 5.99. The minimum grade to pass the exam should be 6. Most of the candidates who passed the exam got the minimum grade.
