Romania’s Government grants financial aid to the families of nightclub fire victims
The Romanian Government decided on Tuesday, November 3, to grant emergency financial aids to the families of those who have lost their lives in the fire at Colectiv Club in Bucharest. Each family will receive RON 5,000 (some EUR 1,100).
Moreover, the Government will grant a RON 10,000 (EUR 2,200) financial aid to the family of Maria Ion, the woman who has died in the tragic incident and who was the sole provider of a family made of five children and a paralyzed father, reports local Mediafax.
Local payment agencies will be in charge of identifying the beneficiaries and making the payments. The aid will be granted based on an application submitted to the payment agency and a copy of the ID card.
A total of 32 people lost their lives following the nightclub fire last Friday.
