Romania's Govt. allots EUR 68 mln for county roads revamping
The Government has allocated almost EUR 68 million to finance repairs on county and municipal roads. The Government Decision, which the Regional Development Ministry initiated, was approved on August 19.
The 41 counties have each received amounts between EUR 1.1 - 1.8 million to repair some of their worst roads. The allocation was done based on the roads’ lengths in a certain county and the county’s financial capacity.
The counties with a reduced capacity have received more money.
