Romania's Highways Company launches tender for 260-meter overpass
Romania's National Company for Highways (CNADNR) has launched a tender to build an overpass between the Bucharest belt and the Domnesti village, in a contract worth EUR 41.7 million (without VAT).
The road, which will be 260 meters long, is due by 2017, reports local Mediafax.
The winner will have to implement the project in 51 months, three months of which represent the design period, 24 months, the execution period and 24 months maintenance period.
Constructors can submit offers by April 30. CNADNR decided to organize the tender after 20,000 residents from the area had complained they had difficulties getting to the city.
