Seasonally adjusted figures for Industrial output in Romania increased by 4.8 percent in October this year compared to the same month in 2010, according to the Romania National Statistics Institute (INS). In the raw data the increase was 4 percent.

When ordering results by main industrial group, increases were recorded in the intermediate goods industry – up 8.4 percent and in the energy industry – up 6.6 percent. The Durable goods industry recorded a year-on-year decrease of 8.2 percent.

Seasonally adjusted figures for November's industrial output in Romania remained at the same level as in October, while in the raw data output decreased by 1.2 percent.

In the first ten months of this year, Romania’s industrial output increased by 7 percent, according to seasonally adjusted figures. Read the entire INS report here (in Romanian).
