Romania's Interior Ministry to hire 2,880 people
Romania’s Interior Ministry wants to hire 2,880 people to cover some of its staff deficit. It plans to employ 1,600 police officers, 700 non-commissioned gendarmes, 300 firefighters and 280 border guards.
The ministry’s post-secondary schools will organize admission contests between January 13 and January 21, reports local Economica.net. Candidates can submit applications until December 5. They will have to pass a written test, as well as the sports tests, a psychological test and medical evaluation.
Six schools within the Interior Ministry will organize the contests and will then train the needed personnel.
