Romania's IT market, down 13% in the first nine months of the year
The IT market dropped by 13% in the first nine months of the year compared to the same period last year reaching EUR 275 million, according to the study GfK Temax published yesterday.
The photo cameras market saw an even higher decrease, namely 14.2%, reaching EUR 16 million. The printers and MFPs market went down by 0.4% between January and September this year to EUR 45 million.
Meanwhile, the large appliance market recorded the biggest growth, namely 26.2%, reaching EUR 384 million. It was followed by the small appliance market that grew by 23% to EUR 115 million.
The electronics market rose by 22.1% to EUR 261 million. The telecom market recorded an increase of 18.8% compared to the first nine months of last year, reaching EUR 550 million.
Overall, the durable goods market went up by 13.2% in the first nine months, reaching EUR 1.65 billion.
