Romania's OMV Petrom introduces mobile gas stations
Oil & gas company OMV Petrom will build ten mobile gas stations, which will be located on the A1 and A3 highways. The deadline for opening these units is the last quarter of the year, according to the firm.
Each station will have 3 pumps, including a rapid one to supply trucks. Such a station can provide gas to about 1,500 cars per day.
The ten gas stations will be located on the Nadlac-Arad highway, the Lugoj-Deva highway, the Orastie-Sibiu highway and the Medgidia-Constanta highway.
OMV Petrom is not the first company that uses this gas station concept. Oil company Rompetrol, controlled by Kazakh group KazMunayGas, launched its first mobile stations called Rompetrol Express in 2006.
