Romania's song Change ranks 17th in Eurovision final, Azerbaijan wins

Romania ranked 17th in the Eurovision song competition final on Saturday, which was held in Germany. The country was represented by the band Hotel FM, which sang the song 'Change'. This year's competition winners came from Azerbaijan, with the song 'Running Scared' by Ell & Nikki (in picture; listen to the song below).

Zdob & Zdub, the band which represented the Republic of Moldova, ranked 12th in the competition, with the song 'So Lucky'. The Eurovision final hosted 25 of the 43 songs which had entered the competition.

Hotel FM band is made of David Bryan (voice), Gabriel Băruţă (piano and backing vocals) and Alex Szus (drums). Romania’s song in the 2010 competition, ‘Playing with Fire, by Paula Seling-Ovidiu Cernăuţeanu ranked third.
