Romania's Tax Agency ups threshold for publishing taxpayers’ debts online
Romania’s Tax Agency (ANAF) has increased the threshold for publishing the taxpayers’ debts on the Internet starting April 30.
ANAF will publish the individuals’ debts only if they exceed RON 1,500 (EUR 336). The initial rules enabled the Tax Agency to publish all the debts of over RON 100 (EUR 22.3) for individuals.
The debts of the large taxpayers will be published if they exceed RON 100,000 (EUR 22,400), and not EUR 336, as it was previously established.
For medium taxpayers, the new threshold amounts to some EUR 11,100, whereas the old threshold was EUR 223.
