Romania's Transelectrica sees profit down
Romanian electricity transport company Transelectrica posted in the first quarter of the year a net profit of EUR 28.4 million, down 7% year-on-year.
Last year, the net profit amounted to EUR 30.7 million, according to Toni Teau, Transelectrica CEO.
The company’s revenues in the first three months of the year increased by 11.5% year-on-year, reaching EUR 175.4 million.
The costs, including amortization, rose by 18% compared to the same period last year. They amounted to EUR 141.8 million.
