Romgermed starts EUR 3 mln chain of veterinary labs in Bucharest
Romanian medical group Romgermed has opened RomgerVet - a laboratory for veterinary analysis - after an investment of EUR 750,000.
“Following a study that we’ve commissioned and conducted, we reached the conclusion that veterinarians need a real partner for medical laboratory tests,” said Ciprian Nicoara, CEO Romgermed Medical Group.
Located on Calea Plevnei street in Bucharest, the new laboratory, opened in mid-May, is the first of a chain that will expand across the country in the coming years, with an investment estimated at EUR 3 million.
Romgermed Group was established in 1999 and in 2011 had a turnover of some EUR 5.2 million and a profit of around EUR 330,000.
