Romgermed to invest EUR 20 mln in Bucharest hospital

Healthcare company Romgermed Group will invest EUR 20 million in a multidisciplinary hospital in Bucharest, that will have 150-250 beds, according to the group's development director, Marius Manoiu. The unit is planed to be finished until late 2012, and it will have around 5,000 sqm.

The company currently owns 16 laboratories and five medical centers, the medical units serving about 5,000 customers daily.

Romgermed estimated at the begining of the year a turnover increase of 40 percent compared to 2010, when it reached EUR 14 million. Romgermed Group is controlled 95 percent by Dorian Sam Schwartz, while the remaining 5 percent is owned by Filip Florin Schwartz.
