Salvatore Adamo pins Romania on his tour map with December concert
Belgian-Italian singer and composer Salvatore Adamo, best known as simply Adamo, who started his career in the 60s, will organize a concert in Romania in December this year. This will be Adamo's first show in Romania and will take place at Sala Palatului, on December 10.
Salvatore Adamo, born in Sicily, is a Belgian – Italian singer and composer of ballads, mainly in French, but also in German, Italian and Spanish. His music was popular in the 60s and the 70s, but less so after the 80s, when new musical genres took over. He re-started his career at the end of the 90s and started touring after 2000. His new album is called 'Toi et moi' and Adamo is on tour promoting his new songs.
Some of his best known songs are "Tombe la neige" ("The snow falls"), "Vous permettez Monsieur" ("May I, Sir"), "La Nuit" ("The Night"), "Ton Nom" ("Your Name"), "Une meche de cheveux" ("Lock of golden hair"). Listen to two of his songs below: an old one and a new one.
