Sameday, one of the largest players in the Romanian courier market, ended last year with a turnover of RON 736mn (nearly EUR 150mn) after a 20% increase compared to 2021.

Sameday's business growth comes to strengthen the player's position in the local courier market but also to prepare it for future expansion in the region, Ziarul Financiar reports.

Sameday had a budget of EUR 50mn for investments that were spent on technological solutions, of which significant parts were used for the development of the easybox lockers network.

Sameday has about 3,800 lockers in Romania, plus 640 easybox units in Hungary and 240 in Bulgaria, which are the first countries where the company has developed abroad.
