Sanofi Romania has new president starting next year
French pharma group Sanofi has appointed Emmanuelle Valentin-Fouchs country chair of Sanofi Romania and Moldova and board president of the local factory Zentiva starting January 1, 2016.
She will replace Christophe Gourlet, who will manage Sanofi’s antidiabetics global division.
Emmanuelle Valentin-Fouchs has an experience of over 20 years in the pharma industry. She was previously Vice-President Operational Excellence & Innovation at Sanofi Europa.
The French pharma group owns in Romania the trading division Sanofi Romania and the drug factory Zentiva Bucuresti. The company has a share in the local drug market of 12% in volume and 6.7% in value, according to Cegedim data.
