Sarkk opens new Tommy Hilfiger store in Iulius Mall Timisoara, Romania
Tommy Hilfiger group has recently opened a new store in Romania. The designer lifestyle brand’s new store is located in Iulius Mall shopping center in Timisoara and has a total area of 125 sqm. The store is operated by Sarkk, the exclusive importer of Tommy Hilfiger products in Greece, the Balkans and Cyprus.
Tommy Hilfiger, which is entirely owned by PVH Corp., currently has eight stores in Romania, located in five cities. Sarkk, managed by Giorgos Betchavas, runs four stores in Bucharest and one each in Cluj, Iasi, Brasov and now Timisoara.
Worldwide, there are over 1,100 Tommy Hilfiger stores in 90 countries. The group’s six flagship stores are located on Fifth Avenue in New York, Champs-Élysées in Paris, Brompton Road and Regent Street in London, Omotesando in Tokyo and Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Iulius Mall Timisoara, part of the Iulius Group, was opened in 2005 and expanded in 2009, after a total investment of EUR 105 million. The shopping center has a total built area of over 177,000 sqm and a gross leasable area of some 65,000 sqm. Iulius Group is owned by Romanian real estate investor Iulian Dascalu.
