Second lot of Romania's Nadlac-Arad highway, due this month
The second segment of the Nadlac-Arad highway, in western Romania, will be completed this month. The entire section is already paved.
The new checkpoint at the border with Hungary is also due in June, according to the constructor’s representatives, cited by local Capital.ro.
The highway’s second lot stretches between the town of Pecica and Arad city. The pavement work is completed, and the builder still needs to install crash barriers, fences and soundproofing panels, said Adrian Adler, project director for the Nadlac-Arad highway.
