Section of Romania's Brasov bypass road to be built under EUR 18 mln contract
Romania’s roads authority CNADNR has awarded a contract of almost RON 80 million (over EUR 18 million), including VAT, to an association led by Viarom Construct, part of French group Eurovia, for the design and construction of a 4.9-km section of the Brasov bypass, in central Romania.
The design and construction work for the Brasov bypass, section II, DN 11 - DN 13, was awarded on July 4 to the association consisting of Viarom Construct - Beta-Cops - Maxidesign, local news agency Mediafax reports.
The builder was selected via an open tender, for the lowest price.
