Selgros starts rebranding process in Romania
Local retailer Selgros Cash&Carry Romania will enter a rebranding process both on its visual identity and its business strategy.
The changes come after the takeover of Selgros by Transgourmet Holding AG, the second largest cash & carry and B2B trade group in Europe, in 2011, reports local Economica.net. Selgros has taken over Transgourmet’s logo and the graphics.
The retailer currently owns 19 large-format stores and plans to open a smaller store concept in Targu Mures and Alba Iulia, this year.
The company entered the local market in 2001. Last year it had a turnover of EUR 645 million, up from EUR 622 million in 2014.
