Street celebrations and street shops return to Bucharest during the winter season. This year, a couple of new Christmas markets have emerged – such as the one in the Old Town, an area of Bucharest which has flourished. See below the list of Christas markets and fairs in Bucharest. From December 8 to December 26 – Christmas souvenirs fair in George Enescu Square (near the Romanian Athenaeum) MAP

From December 11 to January 10- Suvenir de Bucuresti fair at the Bucharest Art Gallery (15 Academiei St)

From December 15- Christmas Fair at Brancovenesc Palace in Mogosoaia, near Bucharest. Ice skating rink opened.
