Romanian investment company SIF Transilvania posted a net profit of about EUR 28.4 million (RON 119.8 million) in the first nine months of 2011, up 3.8 times compared to the one reported in the same period in 2010, according to the company.

The company attracted total revenues of EUR 45 million (RON 190.8 million), up three-fold compared to the same period in 2010, while SIF Transilvania’s expenses also increased by 65 percent to EUR 12.2 million (RON 51.6 million).

SIF Transilvania has a registered capital of about EUR 25.2 million (RON 109.2 million), divided into 1.09 billion shares with a nominal value of RON 0.10.
