Police officers from Prahova county fined six foreign citizens who came to hunt in Romania because they were keeping their weapons in unsafe conditions.

Following a control at the motel the six foreigners were staying, the police officers found that the hunters were keeping their weapons on the floor, on the table, or near the doors reports local News.ro. Moreover, some of the guns were loaded.

The six foreigners, who participated in an authorized hunting organized on January 15-17 in Prahova county, were fined a total of RON 30,000 (some EUR 6,600). Moreover, their right to carry or use weapons or ammunition on Romanian territory was also canceled.
