Six million watch fourth season opening of Romania's Got Talent
Around six million Romanians watched the first show in the fourth season of Romania's Got Talent, broadcast by ProTV last weekend.
The show thus managed to break its own record in terms of market share, with a 53 percent market share among viewers 18 to 49, according to data from Kantar Media.
The winner of the show will get EUR 120,000, while another EUR 10,000 will be given to the most original competitor.
This season, competitors who will impress the judges even from the pre-selection stage, will get a chance to go into the semifinals directly, with a green ticket.
The first season of Romania's Got Talent was won by a young counter-tenor, the second, by a 'mentalist', and the third, by a talented dog and his owner.
The show is based on an international format, developed by Simco Limited. The hosts of the show are Romanian singer and entertainer Smiley and actor Pavel Bartoş. The judges are the Romanian singer Andra, a Pro TV star and presenter Andi Moisescu and a well known Romanian dancer, Mihai Petre.
