Six new tenants for City Mall shopping center in Bucharest before auction sale this month
Six new tenants chose to open stores in City Mall shopping center in Bucharest, which is currently insolvent and up for sale. Coldwell Banker Affiliates of Romania intermediated the signing of the six new leases in the mall. The six new stores are Domo, a gadget store, a Toyplex store with products for children, a clothing store and one of accessories, both branded BXL Outlets and an Expert Professional Studio beauty salon.
“By attracting new tenants we want to improve and make more attractive the mix of tenants and services that the mall offers”, said Alin Dumitrascu, City Mall shopping center manager. Coldwell Banker was appointed in January manager of the City Mall shopping center, offering third party management, including management services, rental, property and facility management. Coldwell Banker appointed Alin Dumitrascu to lead the shopping center.
City Mall is under the judicial administration of Casa de Insolventa Transilvania, as the project became insolvent in November 2010. Casa de Insolventa Transilvania will hold a second auction on April 20 for the sale of the commercial project with the starting price of EUR 29.5 million. City Mall was opened in 2005 and has a total area of 38,000 sqm.
