Cinemas in four Romanian cities, namely Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Timisoara, will host on September 16 the “Romanian FilmNight” event, a movie marathon that will bring well-known Romanian movies to the sleepless public.

During this event, people can watch the Romanian movie “Morgen”, which is Romania’s proposal to the Oscar Prizes in 2012, “The Medal of Honor” (Medalia de Onoare), directed by Calin Peter Netzer, the comedy “Hello! How are you?” (Buna! Ce faci?), and even Romanian documentaries, such as “The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceausescu”, produced by Andrei Ujica. Classic film fans can watch old films like  “Why do the bells ring, Mitica?” (De ce trag clopotele, Mitica?), directed by Lucian Pintilie and “A girl's tear” (O lacrima de fata).

In Bucharest, the event will be held in Fabrica Club- where the entry is RON 20 and includes the after party- , at Studio Cinema, Eforie Cinema, Patria Cinema, Noul Cinematograf al Regizorului Roman, The Old Center, Green Hours and Hanul lui Manuc.

In Cluj, film fans can watch movies at the Florin Piersic Cinema and Victoria Cinema, in Timisoara the film will be screened at Studio Cinema, while in Iasi the movies can be seen at Republica Cinema.

Entrance to the film screenings will be free, depending on the number of seats available.
