Software provider plans to hire 650 in Romania in four years
London-based software provider Endava wants to hire 650 people in Romania in the next three - four years. The company plans to reach about 2,000 employees, said John Cotterell, Endava CEO, reports local Wall-street.ro.
Endava now has some 1,350 employees in three cities. The majority are in Cluj-Napoca (669), followed by Bucharest (361), and Iasi (327).
In May this year, the software provider moved its Bucharest office into the AFI Park 3 office building, near the AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping center. It is also close to the Bucharest’s Polytechnic University. The new space has a capacity of 650 people.
The company has about 2,400 employees globally and has been active in Romania for ten years. Its headquarters in Romania is located in Cluj-Napoca.
Endava Romania’s business went up four-fold from 2011 until 2014, to EUR 37 million, while the company’s profit reached EUR 7 million last year.
