Solar Power Energy plugs in 5.4 MW photovoltaic park in Teleorman, Romania
Romanian-German company Solar Power Energy has put into operation a 5.4 MW photovoltaic park in Teleorman county, Romania, the total value of the project amounting to EUR 5.2 million, reports Economica.net.
Mavrodin Park is located in the village of Nenciulesti, Teleorman county, and was financed with European funds, through the Sectoral Operational Programme ‘Increasing Economic Competitiveness’.
According to Gheorghe Pauna, director of network connectivity within Solar Power Energy, the park will produce around 6,000 MWh per year, and the investment will be recovered in 8-9 years.
