Over 29,000 public administration employees will go on a warning strike this Friday, February 20, asking for food vouchers and salary increases.

The National Federation of Public Administration Trade Unions announced on Wednesday, February 18, that the employees from city halls and county councils in 38 counties will stop work between 10 AM - 10.30 AM on Friday, reports local Digi24.

They complain that their salaries have not increased while wages went up for other employees from the public sector.

Employees from the public administration make between RON 900 and RON 1,900 monthly, union representatives say.
