Sorana Georgia, with over 14 years of experience in retail, will be the new CEO of retailer Billa Romania, according to the company. The new Billa Romania CEO will officially start on July 1 and will be responsible for coordinating all operations in Romania.

Throughout her career, Sorana Georgia held management positions in several companies in retail, having accumulated experience in areas like coordination of operations, budgeting, project management, human resources and marketing. She previously run  Marionnaud Perfumeries Romania, where she was country manager.

Billa is present on the market in Romania since February 1999, when it opened its first supermarket in Bucharest. Currently, Billa owns 55 stores in the most important cities in Romania. Billa Romania is part of Austrian group Rewe International, which runs 3,600 stores worldwide.
