South-African real estate investor NEPI has kicked off the expansion and revamping of the Braila Mall shopping center in Romania.
The developer aims to make place for new brands such as Stradivarius, Pull&Bear, Bershka, and LC Waikiki in the mall. The first three brands belong to the Spanish group Inditex.
The shopping center currently has a mixed structure of tenants. These include H&M, Deichmann, C&A, Musette, Poema, CCC, New Yorker, Hervis, Benvenuti. This summer, new brands such as Profihairshop, Coccodrillo, and the Sensiblu drug store chain opened shops in the mall.
The revamping work is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The mall will have over 56,900 sqm by then.
NEPI is the biggest mall owner in Romania. Its portfolio includes Mega Mall, Mall Promenada, and Vulcan Value Center in Bucharest, CityPark Constanta, and Shopping City Timisoara.
