Special construction tax in Romania, down to 1%
Romanian President Klaus Iohannis enacted on Thursday, January 8, two laws on the capital market and on the special constructions tax, which was reduced from 1.5% to 1%, reports local Agerpres.
The special construction tax was introduced in early 2014 and applies to buildings that weren’t covered by any tax, such as pillars, ramps, concrete platforms, other than production or office buildings that were already taxed.
