The average Romanian heavy mobile phone and mobile data user spends 300 MB of Internet traffic a month, sends 180 text messages and talks on average a total of 696 minutes - or more than 11 hours.

Out of these, 606 minutes are call in the same network, and 90 in other networks, according to the data provided by the Romanian National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM).

The occasional user spends 33 MB of Internet traffic a month, sends 20 text messages and talks on the phone a total of 77 minutes -  less than one and a half hours.

According to the ANCOM data, the average Romanian user of mobile telephony and mobile Internet configured on the online application Veritel.ro uses 100 MB of Internet traffic per month and sends 60 text messages. Also, he talks on average 202 minutes in the network and 30 minutes in other networks.

The statistical data collected by ANCOM show that the average fixed telephony user talks for about an hour in the same network and half an hour outside the network in a month.
