The legendary British rock band Status Quo will be on stage in Romania for the first time this fall, in a concert scheduled for October 17 at Sala Palatului. Fans from Romania and the region will listen to the band's old favorites and new material from their recent album, Quid Pro Quo.

The boogie rock band was founded in 1967 and reached fame in the 70s, when they became one of UK's leading rock bands.

Status Quo are known for songs like ''Rockin' All Over the World'', and 'In the Army Now' . The band have so far released 29 studio albums, 4 live albums, 7 compilations and 77 singles. Status Quo's songs have featured for a total of 415 weeks in British charts.

The band has had a few line up changes over the years, including the original drummer and bass player leaving the band in the 80s, but guitarists Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt ( who share vocal duties ) still front the band.

Information on ticket prices for the concert in Bucharest will soon be released.
