Steve Warner and Brendan O'Brien to lead American Association of Pharmaceutical Companies in Romania
Steve Warner (in picture), the managing director of Merck Sharp & Dohme Romania, and Brendan O'Brien, CEO of Pfizer Romania, will lead the American Association of Pharmaceutical Companies in Romania (LAWG), that represents the interests of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), the largest association of biopharmaceutical research companies.
Steve Warner has been named President of LAWG Romania, replacing Mihai Diamandopol, while Brendan O’Brien will be the association’s new Vice-President.
In Romania, LAWG represents the interests of 10 PhRMA members, with a combined market share of approximately 40 percent of the local market.
