Stratfor: Romania will be part of anti-Russian coalition, led by US
Romania will play a significant role in a regional anti-Russian coalition led by Poland and sponsored by the US in the first half of the next decade, writes US publisher and global intelligence company Stratfor.
In the second half of the following decade, the coalition will redraw the Russian borders and recover the lost territories.
“Romania and Poland will benefit from this strategic partnership with the US, because it’s in Washington’s interest, after it enters a strategic relationship, to help its partners get economically stronger, so that they can stabilize their society and be able to build a military force,” writes Stratfor, cited by local Digi24.
Romania, Poland and Hungary, and Russia’ west neighbors will try to recover the regions lost to Russians at various times and will try to attract Ukraine and Belarus on their side.
