Beer is one of the main items found during in Romanian fridges. Half of Romanians polled by GfK Romania said they had beer in the fridge over the previous months. Of these, some 49 percent say they have beer in the fridge on hot summer days. A ranking of must have products during summer show beer above the classic summer refreshment, ice cream.

The study covered a sample of 1,024 people in Romania, men and women over 18, between May and June this year. The study was made for the Romanian Brewers Association.
