Survey: Banks and technology companies, among most attractive employers for Romanian graduates
Romanian lender Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), BRD group and Banca Transilvania make the top third most attractive employers in Romania, according to a recent barometer by Trendence. For engineering, Continental, Microsoft and Dacia Renault make the top 3.
The barometer was created using answers from graduates about their dream employers and career plans.
The business barometer lists 95 companies active in Romania, ranked based on how many graduates mentioned the companies as being attractive for future employment. BCR was mentioned in 13 percent of the answers, BRD, in 11.9 percent of them, and Banca Transilvania, in 9.9 percent.
The top 10 ranking is shared by five banks, one internet and one telecom company (Google and Orange), two consumer goods producers (Coca – Cola and P&G), and one consultancy company (PwC). The full ranking is here.
The engineering and IT edition of the barometer shows Continental was the targeted employer for 11.1 percent of the graduates, while Microsoft, for 7.8 percent of them, and Dacia and Google, for 7.5 percent of them. The top 10 includes five car makers and car parts companies, three technology companies and one telecom company. The full ranking is here.
The overall number of participants for this barometers for both the business and engineering/IT edition was of 320,000. Interviews took place between November 2012 and March 2013.
