23 March 2016

Swedish investment fund Oresa Ventures is in negotiations for a EUR 50 million loan from lenders ING Bank and Raiffeisen to complete the acquisition of the water distributor La Fantana and pay the firm’s debts, reports local Mirsanu.ro.

La Fantana is currently owned by the Polish fund Innova Capital, which bought the company from Oresa eight years ago. The Polish fund started negotiating its exit from the water distributor last year. Innova could get over EUR 20 million from the deal, according to sources on the mergers & acquisitions market.

La Fantana needs to reimburse a loan of EUR 37.5 million to the Austrian bank Erste, plus an additional amount of EUR 18.7 million.
