Swedish software provider opens IT center in Romania's Iasi
Enea, a Swedish company that specializes in producing software solutions for network equipment, opened its first IT center outside Bucharest, in Iasi.
The center is located in the United Business Center (UBC) 3 office building within the Palas Iasi real estate complex, owned by local investor Iulian Dascalu. The company will recruit over 100 specialists in its new center for the positions of software developer and tester.
“We’ve chosen Iasi because of its potential in the IT regional market,” said Valentin Picos, ENEA office manager in Iasi.
The software supplier plans to expand its center in the UBC 3 building.
The Palas Iasi complex has five operational office buildings that host about 4,800 employees.
