Seven Romanians were taken into custody in Switzerland, being accused of beating several elderly people and robbing their houses. The Police in Romania also searched the home of two more suspects in Bucharest, where they found the goods stolen from the Swiss victims.

Representatives of the Swiss authorities are currently in Bucharest to support the local authorities, according to Mediafax newswire, quoting judicial sources.

Several Romanians are suspected of having broken into the homes of Swiss citizens, holding several people captive and robbing their homes.
