Synevo Romania, the local medical laboratories division of Swedish Medicover group, recorded in the first six months revenues of EUR 12 million, 33 percent higher compared to the results during the same period last year, of EUR 9 million. The increase was due to the growth in the number of customers. For this year, total revenues are expected to reach EUR 22 million from EUR 19 million recorded last year.

Synevo made 4 million medical investigations in the first half of this year, up on the 3 million investigations recorded in the first period in 2010. Synevo has a network of 13 laboratories in Romania, and could open another unit later this year.  It currently has 450 employees. Synevo International is present in six countries, namely Romania, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, and from mid last year, Turkey.
