Romanian lawyer and tax adviser Gabriel Biris said that he would be appointed state secretary within the Finance Ministry in a few days.

“I confirm the fact that I was invited to become state secretary within the Finance Ministry. I had a discussion with people in the ministry, and we agreed on certain ways of action,” Biris said.

He added he was waiting for his official appointment.

Biris has a 20-year experience in tax consulting and business law, according to his statement. Together with other partners, he has a law firm called Biris Goran.
